Product Log: Launching Star Mind

Started another side project this week — Star Mind.

Dusted off an old domain (star-mind.top) and turned it into a review site for free SEO and marketing tools. No affiliate fluff, just me actually testing the free tiers and writing down where they break.

Why?

While working on MindGift, I realized there’s always a few weeks between shipping and seeing any real traction. I used to just stare at analytics and tweak copy. Not productive.

So this time I thought: why not just start another thing while I wait?

Also googled around — turns out people are searching for “free SEO tools” and “SERP checker” quite a bit. Figured I’d give it a shot.

What’s on the site?

First version is simple:

• Tell people exactly where the free plan hits a limit
• Actually run real tasks, screenshot the annoying parts
• No star ratings — just “this is for who”

First review is up: WhatsMySerp, a rank checker. More coming.

Next

Gonna work through SEO tools first, then maybe expand to design / productivity stuff.

There’s also a tiny trends chart at the bottom. Just playing around with it. If it’s useful, might turn it into a weekly thing.

Small bet. Might work, might not. At least I didn’t sit around waiting.
